About the authors
Albert Bengtson has a background in economics and deep knowledge of how to develop concepts and solutions for the web. His passion is not only for intrapreneurship but also the even more chaotic part of a project’s birthing process. As an entrepreneur he founded several companies, one of which won Elon Musk’s annual Developer Challenge award, while still at Paypal. Now an enterprise evangelist at a large multinational corporation, Albert continues to develop close collaborations with many established companies. For more than a decade, he has worked extensively with coaching and connecting intrapreneurial talent to drive purpose and impact in retail, banking, and logistics.
Birgitte Stjärne has a background in economics and law. During her nearly two decades as a director of a travel insurance firm, she spearheaded a number of strategic change projects in finance, product development, marketing and IT. What some had first scoffed as “impossible” product solutions implemented by her team have now become industry-standards for transformative change work, earning them several international marketing awards. After a couple of years in an early start-up for recycling, Birgitte conducted extensive studies on intrapreneurs and intrapreneurship, summarizing her results in the book The lntrapreneur – The key to innovation (2017). Beyond her current role as an innovation management consultant, she is also engaged in the work of developing standards for innovation.
Roland Williams is a multi-disciplinary creative consultant at HiQ, merited for his skills with digital content development for Retail, Banking, Logistics, and F&B. Being at the intersection of brand communications and technology early in his career not only opened happiness at a major beverage company (The Real Thing), it prompted a relocation to Sweden and the chance to discover intrapreneurship in all of its glory. Ro’s work with high-performance teams ranges from winning an investment round for a large franchise bottler to shaping the takeaways for dozens of IT products, a pivotal pharma merger, and strategic communications for a who’s who of business leaders.
